Sometimes a floor just needs a fix: a gouge, a loose seam, a buckled section. BRC Flooring will tell you honestly whether to repair or replace. If a repair holds up, that saves you money, and we would rather earn your trust than sell you a new floor.

Water damage and Michigan basements
A failed sump pump, a burst pipe in January, or slow seepage after spring thaw can all ruin a floor. We find where the moisture came from, remove the damaged sections, and replace them.
If the damage is widespread, a full flooring installation in luxury vinyl plank is often the better long-term fix for a basement.

A good repair disappears. We try to match color, grain, and sheen, and we keep spare pieces from our own installs when we can. For older floors, we show you what is possible before we start.
