Why stairs deserve their own installer
A staircase is the hardest part of any floor job. Every tread is slightly different, every riser needs a custom cut, and a loose nosing is a safety problem. BRC Flooring has done many stair wraps, and Carlos Sr.'s 30-plus years of experience shows up in the details.
Pair the stairs with the floor at the top and bottom, whether that is luxury vinyl plank or another vinyl floor, so the whole space reads as one.

How a vinyl stair wrap goes in
We measure each tread and riser individually, then cut and fit every piece. Nosings are fastened and glued so nothing rocks or clicks.
- Strip old carpet, staples, and glue from every step
- Check treads for soft spots and fix them
- Cut and fit risers first, then treads
- Install a matching or contrasting nosing
- Caulk and finish the edges for a clean look

Vinyl stairs wipe clean and resist scratches from paws, backpacks, and boots tracked in from a Michigan winter. Basement stairs, which see dampness, are a common request.
